Chelsea Evans is co-founder of JT Trading Post and the creative force behind its look, feel, and curation. After launching Roaming Travelers in 2020, she and her partner Andrew grew a single boutique into a multi-vendor retail anchor in downtown Joshua Tree — a 3,000-square-foot space home to 30+ makers and brands.

Chelsea leads the creative and operational side: vendor curation, merchandising, brand identity, and the in-store experience that makes JT Trading Post feel like a destination rather than a stop. Her instinct has always been to remove the barriers that keep small makers out of storefronts, building a space where independent brands can flourish.

She believes in community over competition, and in giving the High Desert a retail home that reflects the people who live and create here.
